Oshwal Centre in Potters Bar provided a beautiful setting for Laura and Rahul’s Hindu Wedding Ceremony.
Laura looked beautiful in her Indian wedding outfit. I love photographing Fusion Weddings. There is something about them that is just a little extra special. I always find it amazing to see both families embracing and learning about each other’s cultures including traditional clothes. Weddings like this are made better when the Maraj (Priest) can also explain the Indian Wedding ceremony in English. Vasudev Mehta (Hindu Wedding Priest), did an incredible job ensuring Laura and her family understood all the different steps. This plays a huge role in keeping the guests engaged with the wedding.
Laura’s mum got stuck straight in and even knew that during the Pokwanu, she had to give her best attempt at pinching the Grooms’s nose. You will see below that she made light work of this, Rahul we most certainly not expecting that.
The grounds around Derasar (Temple) provides a beautiful backdrop for Couple Portraits.
Below are some of my personal favourites from the day. Be sure to keep an eye out for the next blog showing my favourites from their Church Wedding & Reception Party
